Energy-Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) are commonly installed in conjunction with HVAC systems in order to properly condition air from your fresh air intake and improve indoor air quality. ERV systems are used to pre-cool and dehumidify air in the warmer seasons, and they conversely humidify and pre-heat air in the winter months.
